Membership Eligibility

The field of membership shall be limited to those who have the following common bond or occupation or association:

The field of membership shall be limited to Metropolitan Utilities District’s Board of Directors, permanent employees, retired employees, unremarried spouses of deceased Credit Union members, permanent employees of Utilities Federal Credit Union, and their immediate families or household of all of the above groups of employees who are members of the Credit Union, and organizations of such persons which pertain generally to their employment.  Members of their immediate families includes any relative by blood or marriage, and adopted children, or former employee who has retained membership in the credit union upon termination of employment. 

Household is defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.

 

Once a Member, Always a Member 
After joining Utilities Federal Credit Union, you may retain your membership as long as you like, even if your employment or residence changes. This is all due to our "once a member, always a member" philosophy.
